Scholarships sponsored by the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program:

Luellen Laurenti Scholarship: Is given to outstanding undergraduates in the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies minor.

Dorothy E. Lee Scholarship: To provide scholarships for nontraditional undergraduate students to either begin a college education or to return to college to continue studies toward a degree.

Dorothy E. Lee Grant: To provide nontraditional undergraduate students help to fund incidental expenses related to their education.

Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Achievement Award: Awarded to graduating minors based on academic standing and service to the Program or social justice issues.

Anne M. Semlak Memorial Scholarship: Provides financial support to graduate and undergraduate students active in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, F.L.A.M.E. and Community Work.

Susan T. Kern Special Opportunity Endowed Scholarship: Was established by Susan and Stephen Kern in 2006 to provide financial support to an Illinois State University student for a one-time special academic or co-curricular opportunity. Susan Kern worked at Illinois State for over 31 years, serving as an Associate Professor of Home Economics, Assistant to the Dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST), Executive Officer of the University, and Vice President of University Advancement. Stephen was employed by State Farm Insurance Company for over 35 years.
