Scholarships

Scholarships sponsored by the Women's and Gender Studies program:

• Luellen Laurenti Scholarship: Is given to outstanding undergraduates in the Women’s and Gender Studies minor.
• Dorothy E. Lee Scholarship: Assists women 25 years of age or older who demonstrate financial need.
• Dorothy E. Lee Grant: Helps female undergraduate students defray incidental expenses associated with their education.
• Women’s and Gender Studies Achievement Award: Awarded to graduating minors based on academic standing and service to the Program or social justice issues.
• Susan T. Kern Special Opportunity Scholarship Fund: Provides financial support to Illinois State University women students for one-time special academic or co-curricular opportunities.
• Anne M. Semlak Memorial Scholarship: Provides financial support to graduate and undergraduate students active in Women's and Gender Studies, FLAME and Community Work.

Scholarships offered by other organizations:

•  PEO Grant for Women Returning to College: One-time award for women whose education has been interrupted and are now returning to the university.
